Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a boat handrail. This marine handrail provides a secure grip to help you get into or out of the water. You can easily lower yourself from the boat's platform or pull yourself back up onto your deck. When it comes to the finishing and construction, we're looking at electro-polish 316 stainless steel. It's extremely strong and durable, and extremely corrosion resistant. This is a flush-mount design, so there will be no visible signs of the mounting hardware once it's installed, offering a real nice, clean installation look.
The rail mounts directly to the boat deck, with the included hardware.So, it comes with two flat washers and two installation nuts. The studs are already attached to the actual handle. When it comes to the measurements, we're measuring from the center of one stud to the center of the other. That gives us a measurement of eight inches. The actual bar diameter is three quarters of an inch.
The mounting studs have a diameter of five sixteenths of an inch, and they measure two and three eighths inches long. Now, once installed, you'll have around an inch and a half of space between the installation surface and the bottom of the handle. So, plenty of room to get your hand on there. Overall measurements, going edge to edge, outer edge to outer edge measures about nine and one quarter inches. And, then once installed from the installation surface to the top of the handle, you'll have about two and five sixteenths inches.
